A good dispensary menu board does two things: it gives customers the information they need, and it looks good doing it. Trikome is built to help you do both without needing a designer or a complicated setup.
Here is how menus work.
Menus Are Made of Pages
Each menu in Trikome is made up of pages that rotate in sequence. Think of it like a slideshow — each page displays for a set amount of time, then moves to the next.
You decide:
- How many pages your menu has
- What each page shows
- How long each page stays on screen before rotating
This gives you a lot of flexibility with your dispensary screen layout. A simple setup might be two or three pages cycling through your product categories. A more involved setup might include promo content, featured products, and a full catalog view — all in one menu.
What You Can Put on a Page
Each cannabis menu page can display a mix of content:
Product collections — pull in any collection from your catalog, like Flower, Edibles, or Staff Picks. Products show with their names, strain info, THC percentage, and pricing.
Images — upload any image from your media library to use as a full-screen or partial display. Great for featured products, brand visuals, or seasonal promotions.
Videos — add video content for promos, brand reels, or supplier content. Videos play inline within your page rotation.
You can combine these however you want. A page could be entirely a video, entirely a product list, or a mix of both.
The Media Library
All your images and videos live in the Media Library. Upload once, use anywhere across your digital signage for cannabis retail.
On the Free plan you get 100MB of storage. Premium gives you 500MB per store, which is plenty for a solid library of photos and short video clips.
Content that works well in the media library:
- Product photography from your suppliers
- Brand or store intro videos
- Promotional graphics for deals or events
- Seasonal content you can swap in and out
Arranging Your Cannabis TV Menu
Once your pages are set up, you can drag to reorder them and adjust the display duration for each one. Shorter durations work well for quick product lists. Longer durations give customers more time to take in a video or a detailed page.

Keep It Simple
The best dispensary menu boards are easy to read at a glance. Clear product names, legible prices, clean visuals. Trikome's layouts are designed with that in mind — you do not need to fiddle with fonts or spacing. Just add your content and it looks good on screen.
